Dear Friends!
We are pleased to invite you to a special Workshop over the President's Day weekend of February 13-15 in San Francisco! This will be a time to put our minds together and finalize a development plan for the Western Retreat Center purchased last year. If you'd like to participate in this exciting event, let us know at wrcteam@diamondway.org More details will be arriving soon, but here is a general outline so you can make your arrangements.

Fri, Feb. 12

People can arrive and stay overnight at the SF center.

Sat, Feb. 13

12noon - 5pm - Walk the land and imagine together what it could be like: where the main residence would be, the gompa, the showers, kitchen, meditation huts, the garden, etc.
7pm - Dinner back at the SF center, followed by the informal discussions and social time.

Sun, Feb. 14

We'll have several professionally facilitated sessions to help us explore possibilities, generate ideas, bring them together into a unified vision, create a time line and the action plan going forward.

Mon, Feb. 15

Celebrate the future of the WRC and head back home.

Note: Over the course of the past year, there has been some basic infrastructure put on the land. Many ideas have been discussed, meetings have been held, and a first meditation retreat took place in October. Working teams are still forming for specific areas of the project, and a Steering Committee has been set up to facilitate and coordinate the work of these teams. That is why this weekend is so important to participate in, as this will be the time we bring it all together and solidify the vision for this great retreat land. We hope you will join us to help this come together.
