Clear Lake Center

Center Information
The Clear Lake Diamond Way
Buddhist Center was founded in 1998 and has been active in the community
ever since. We are a continuation of the activity of the first Texas
Diamond Way Center founded in 1992 in Friendswood after Lama Ole's first
visit to the Lone Star State.
Weekly Meetings
On Tuesday nights at 7:30 pm we will give a
ten-minute talk followed by a 30-minute meditation on the 16th Karmapa.
Afterwards, we will enjoy some tea and snacks. If you are new to Diamond
Way this is a great time to get answers to all of your questions, from
several of our more experienced practitioners.
On Sunday mornings at 9:30 am we will do Ngondro and Refuge
meditation. On this day we will help guide those who are ready to
take their practice to the next level. Ten-minute explanations on
these very powerful practices will be given and then we will put
these practices into action for an hour and twenty minutes.
Afterwards we will enjoy tea and snacks. Newcomers are also welcome
to attend.
No matter your level of experience, we welcome you to join us
Tuesdays and Sundays!
***A message to new people***
New to Buddhism? Members of our sangha are available to explain the basics before each meeting. Please plan to arrive about 30 minutes early, and one of us will give you an introduction on how we meditate, what Buddhism is, and how Diamond Way Buddhism differs from other paths. Also, please feel free to read the introductory material located here. No prior knowledge of Buddhism is needed to attend.
For more information please feel free to contact Bonnie Cooper at 281-686-6821 or by E-mail at
