In this fund raising event for the North American Retreat Center!
THIS YEARS EVENT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS.
Together, 29 centers, raised over $22,000 (still counting the contributions)!
JESPER JORGENSEN, our official STEPS ON THE WAY WALKER
ran 13 miles at altitude, near our amazing Retreat Center land, raising over $2400.
DWBC San Francisco raised over $6500 with only 11 walkers. So fantastic!
Thanks again so so much for all your joy and enthusiasm, your time and your sweat!
Your enthusiastic activities and generous donations will make this retreat center a reality. All funds raised for the 3rd Annual STEPS ON THE WAY WALK-A-THON will go to purchase this land and for the construction of the retreat center facilities.
MOVING FORWARD
PLEASE, NOW is the time to continue our fundraising activities! Continue to DONATE directly, join as a member, and ORGANIZE more fundraising events.
Together, with your support, Diamond Way Buddhist Centers (DWBC) will build our first North American Retreat and Study Center. This center will preserve and continue the teachings of the Karma Kagyu Diamond Way school of Tibetan Buddhism. It will be a place where the teachers, methods, and traditions of this authentic 1,000 year-old Tibetan Buddhist lineage can continue to be studied and practiced.
STEPS COORDINATORS
Please collect all of your center's participant forms and donations, complete a STEPS on the WAY Participant Registration Form 2007, and send these to us before October 1st. The earlier we receive the donations, the sooner we can determine how close we are to our $200,000 goal.
