Lama Ole Nydahl is one of the few Westerners fully qualified as a lama and meditation teacher in the Karma Kagyu Buddhist tradition. He has established more than 600 Buddhist centers in 50 countries around the world. Lama Ole offers a rare combination: an authentic master of Tibetan Buddhism and a layperson with a modern Western viewpoint.

In his latest book, Fearless Death: Buddhist Wisdom on the Art of Dying, Lama Ole Nydahl offers practical advice on how to live for the benefit of others and face death without fear. While the topic of death is often avoided in the West, Nydahl teaches how to relate to death in an open, scientific, and fearless way, and how to assist others.
