* Artur Przybyslawski was born in Poland in 1970 in the City of Lodz. He has been practicing Diamond Way Buddhism since 1994 when he met Lama Ole Nydahl and became his student. Since 2006, Artur has been teaching Diamond Way Buddhism in various countries at the request of Lama Ole Nydahl. Artur holds a Master’s Degree in Philosophy from the University of Lodz (Poland) and a PhD in Philosophy from the Jagiellonian University in Cracow (Poland). Currently, he works at the department of Comparative Studies of Civilisations at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow (Poland), where he is a Professor of Tibetan Language and Buddhist Philosophy. He is a Tibetan translator and an author of many books: “Buddhist Philosophy of Emptiness”, “Emptiness is Joy or Buddhist Philosophy for Those Who Like to Laugh”, “Buddhist Epistemology of Tibet”, “Thales and the Origin of European Reflection”, “Coincidentia Oppositorum”, “From Buddhism to Science and Back”.

Modern self confident people value real experience over philosophical ideals. Buddha’s teachings offer practical, inspiring, and useful tools for transforming even our greatest disturbances into wisdom by pointing directly at our own enlightened nature. By applying the teachings correctly one can take advantage of every situation, even their bustling city lifestyle, to lead them down the path of freedom and enlightenment.

All events are offered free of charge unless otherwise noted. No prior knowledge of Buddhism is required and there are no prerequisites for any center event.
