“Hannah”: Invitation Letter from Lama Ole Nydahl

Buddhist Events NY - Monthly Program

“The film is a big victory for us all – whoever sees it will learn something essential for their lives.” Lama Ole Nydahl

Dearest Friends,

We would take a big step forward for our work if as many of you as possible could find the time to visit the Rubin museum in New York for Hannah’s film which will have a premiere screening on the 6th, 8th & 9th of May. It’s not only a fantastic film that celebrates Hannah, but it also removes generally held taboos concerning death, which trouble our cultures.

The film itself is totally touching. Every time I watch it, I can’t believe I had such a wonderful wife and it’s an immense joy to see her unshakable beauty and courage. Hannah is the female pillar of our nearly 700 Diamond Way centers around the world and was also a great help to Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche and other main teachers of our lineage. The film is a big victory for us all – whoever sees it will learn something essential for their lives.

Enjoy and I look forward very much to seeing you soon again. Work goes very well around the world.

From the East Coast of Australia at a Mahamudra course.

Yours, Lama Ole
