In 1969, Ole Nydahl and his wife Hannah became the first Western students of H.H. the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa. After completing three years of Buddhist philosophy studies and intensive meditation training, Ole Nydahl began teaching Buddhism in the West at the request of the 16th Karmapa.

Sundays 5:45 short lecture, 6:00 meditation
Tuesdays 7:45 short lecture, 8:00 meditation
Wednesdays 7:45 short lecture, 8:00 meditation
Open House on the first Sunday of the month at 5:00 pm.
Diamond Way Buddhist Centers around the world meditate at 8 pm, and offer the lecture just beforehand for those who are interested. We have kept our Sundays at the earlier time to accommodate parents who need to get their kids to bed. We hope to see you soon at public meditation!
