Diamond Way Buddhism, TwinCities

Our Diamond Way Buddhist Center consists of students practicing in the Karma Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism and grew out of a search for authentic Buddhist teachings that are easily accessible to people who wish to integrate the ancient wisdom of Buddhism into their daily lives.

We offer free public meditations on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm, Fridays at 7:00 pm, and on Sundays at 6:00 pm at the Twin Cities Diamond Way Buddhist Center in Uptown Minneapolis. All public meditations are preceded by a 15-minute introductory talk on Buddhism.

Interested in taking your dharma practice further? Join us for Ngondro explanations the first Monday of every month at 7:00 pm.

Monthly Open House Day - 1st Sunday of the Month, 5 pm

DWB Center of Twin Cities is hosting an "Open House" every first Sunday of the month at 5pm. All are invited. Free of charge. Great chance for new friends to meet with Buddhist teachings and our fun group here at the center.

The program includes a short introductory presentation about the Diamond Way and its many skillful methods to develop fearlessness, joy and active compassion, the precious qualities which can benefit and positively influence lives of people in today's world.
After some snacks and Q and A session we will do our main meditation - the Guru Yoga on the 16th Karmapa at 6pm. This meditation is guided in English and instrumental for developing active compassion of the Buddha.
After the meditation all are welcome to stay for more questions, food, or drinks, whatever feels right at the moment. No RSVPs. Just drop by.

We share the responsibility for guiding meditations, answering questions and giving teachings.
Often we host traveling teachers renowned in the Karma Kagyu Lineage.
