The Diamond Way Buddhist Center of Madison can not accommodate everyone at the center, but we've done our best to offer a fine option for an affordable price.

Within walking distance to the Monona Terrace and all downtown attractions is one of Madison's finest hotels, The Concourse. We were able to negotiate the rate of $100 per room per night (plus tax), for up to 5 people. Rooms have two queen beds. Roll away beds are an additional $10/night.

Groups or individuals can make their reservation at this special rate with a credit card in advance by contacting the hotel directly. Call 1-800-356-8293 and ask for reservations, then ask for the block under Lama Ole Nydahl lecture attendees. Individuals can also email their reservation request to reservations@concoursehotel.com, indicating the Lama Ole Nydahl room block, arrival/departure dates, name(s), number of people in the room, and credit card information to guarantee the reservation. Reservations must be made by 11/18. After that date, the special rate might no longer be available.

Best is if people can coordinate themselves into groups of the desired number on their own since the hotel can not provide that service. If you would like to find roommates to help reduce the cost of your stay, you can use an online message board. You will need to create a username and password and log in. Be sure that you select the message board for Madison, not the Phowa course.

For those preferring a cheaper rate, Madison also has a hostel within walking distance to the Monona Terrace and all downtown attractions. There is no block reservation there, and the cost per person per night is roughly $5 less than The Concourse (if sleeping 5 to a room).
