Western Retreat Center – WRC | California, USA
Originally named Karma Kunzang Ling, meaning “All-Good Place”, the WRC is located on California’s Central Coast nestled in the mountains of Diablo Range. It offers the “top of the world” views in the setting of acoustical and visual privacy. All 80 acres of its pristine, protected land provide an excellent opportunity for development of a retreat center that supports sustainable, off-the-grid living, in harmony with the surrounding natural beauty of the area.
The WRC offers rustic but comfortable conditions for individual or couple retreats, as well as group meditation and work retreats every few weeks. Long-term development goals include the building of a permanent gompa, sufficient number of meditation cabins, Lama House, as well as expanding the general infrastructure to comfortably hold large meditation courses and accommodate larger gatherings year round.
