Description: This weekend retreat will start off with an Introduction to Buddhism lecture on Thursday night at 8 p.m. (dinner will be at 6:30 before the lecture.)
The retreat is open to anyone who is interested and will run from Friday morning to Sunday evening. Stay tuned to the website and further wall posts for the exact schedule and pricing.
Highlights will include lots of meditation time, Ngondro explanations and lectures about transmission, teacher-student relationship, the sangha and the Europe Centre. Also we will show Lion's Roar (about the 16th Karmapa) and have a big Easter Dinner on Saturda night.
About the teacher: John Christopherson has been Lama Ole's student for 10 years. He is a school teacher and has been an integral part of building Diamond Way Buddhism in USA. He lives with his wife Madelyn in the Buddhist Center in Madison. By the request of Lama Ole he started to share his knowledge with our centers around the world.

Russian Winter Tour 2010 with Lama Ole Nydahl
Once again we invite you to travel with Lama Ole and
our sangha friends from all around the world in a big
colourful mix of nationalities through exciting Russia, the
land of vast space and deep dedication to our great Buddhist
teachings and teachers.
The winter tour will start on 2 January 2010 in Moscow, then
from 4 January 2010 in Nakhodka close to Vladivostok in the
far Eastern part of Russia and carry us westbound about
11,111 km with the famous Trans-Siberian Railway all across
Russia and end in Moscow on 26 January 2010.
People who are attracted to Diamond Way teachings are often modern, self-confident people who value real experience over philosophical ideals. Buddha's teachings offer practical, inspiring, and useful tools for transforming even our greatest disturbances into wisdom by pointing directly at our own enlightened nature. By applying the teachings correctly, one can use every situation on one’s path to freedom and enlightenment.
