The Edmonton Diamond Way Buddhist Center is made
up of lay people, working full-time jobs and incorporating Buddhist
teachings and meditation into their daily lives. The Center is a
non-profit organization run by volunteers that has been part of the
Edmonton community since 1992. The center began as a small group
that met in the homes of members, and is now located at 13015
- 117 Ave, the building is called "El Camino". The goal of the center and its members is to pass on Diamond Way Buddhist teachings and methods to people who want to use them.
There is a shop at the center where you can buy books, magazines, meditation booklets, photos and meditation aids. There is also a library of Buddhist books.
Weekly meditation is every Wednesday and Monday night at 8 pm followed by
a question and answer period and refreshments. No preparation is
needed. For more information on the guided meditations we use, please
