Chason Geister has a Master's degree in the Eastern Classics. While in graduate school, he focused on the teachings that bring about the development of wisdom through compassion found in the middle length discourses (Sutras) of the Pali canon, and on Nagarjuna's meditative dissertation on emptiness (Mulamadhyamakakarika). He met and took refuge with Lama Ole Nydahl in 2000. In 2006 Lama Ole asked him to start teaching Buddhism in Diamond Way Centers. Chason currently resides in Denver, CO with his wife and son. |
