		An Evening with Kerstin Seifert Tuesday April 22nd
		The Importance of Meditation Kersin will talk about the significance of meditation practice as a means to develop wisdom and compassion.
		In 1980 Kiersten Seifert took refuge with Lama Ole Nydahl and in 1990 she moved into the Buddhist center in Wuppertal, Germany. From 1992 through 1999 she provided training and education for bookbinding and restoration of antique books and paper arts while at the same time attending the Karampa International Buddhist Institute starting around 1994. Since 2000 she has been an international traveling teacher. In 2003 she founded a publishing house for Buddhist books under the name of "Buddhistischer Verlag" while working as a publisher. As of spring 2007, she has been organizing the KIBI courses in New Delhi.
