Hannah Nydahl

The 16th Karmapa asked Hannah and Ole to bring Buddhism to the West. For the greater part of the last four decades they have been traveling non-stop, teaching and setting up meditation centers around the world. Hannah Nydahl has been a much sought after translator and interpretor of Tibetan Buddhist philosophy for the last 30 years. She divides her time between translating for the teaching lamas at the Karmapa International Buddhist Institute in New Delhi, India, participating in various Buddhist texts translation projects, organizing schedules and visits of high Rinpoches of the lineage to the West, and traveling around the world supporting Lama Ole's work.
